How AI Can Help You Gain Clarity in Business
As a business owner, you may find a valuable ally in AI technology. This tool can lighten your workload and boost business growth. AI technology holds significant potential for business development, especially as adoption is expected to increase labor productivity by up to 40% and add $4.4 trillion annually to the global economy.[1]
"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
But throughout history, we have always strived to predict and influence the future using various methods. We can learn from our ancestors and apply those lessons to AI.
History meets the future. AI becomes a key player in your business.
AI & Historical Wisdom: The Oracle of Delphi, Egyptian Pyramids & Labyrinth of King Minos
The ancient world offers valuable insights into the progressive field of Artificial Intelligence. The parallels between the two can provide enlightening perspectives.
The Oracle of Delphi in ancient Greece (c. 1400BC) offered predictions, much like how we use AI to identify trends in data. However, today, we rely on a lot of data for our forecasts. And it’s only accelerating.
The precision in building pyramids in ancient Egypt reflects the sophistication needed in constructing AI systems. Both need careful planning and continuous refinement. But it was dreams that Egyptians used specifically to gain insight and guidance from the gods.[2]
I’ve spoken about the intersection of dreams and AI in issue #52.
And just like how the Greek hero Theseus solved the legendary labyrinth of King Minos with a simple thread, simplicity often prevails in the midst of AI's complexity.
“We are like dwarfs sitting on the shoulders of giants. We see more, and things that are more distant, than they did, not because our sight is superior or because we are taller than they, but because they raise us up, and by their great stature add to ours.”
In essence, AI, like the wisdom of our ancient forebears, can simplify complex situations, predict outcomes, and solve problems. We can find inspiration to utilize AI for modern businesses by re-examining the past.
AI: The Modern Oracle
I validated an idea a few months ago, where I took business owners and helped them gain clarity on their niche and ideal business, with the aid of AI.
I combined my own personal experiences with intuitive prompts via ChatGPT. I called them Clarity Sessions.
Here's some of the feedback I received:
How To Do It
Now here are some of the questions I incorporated, so you can try them out yourself in tools like ChatGPT:

Conclusion
AI tools make it easier to gain clarity, especially if used wisely. They are exceptionally good at filtering information and providing insights. But if you combine it with your own wisdom — as people like Brian Roemmele advocate — you can create some unique opportuniti
es and solutions.
Our ancestors had their own ways of interpreting patterns to understand the world, similar to how we use AI today. History tends to repeat itself.
We now use algorithms and data instead of stars and tea leaves. AI is our modern oracle, offering us insights and clarity, just like the ancients sought from their surroundings. Imagine what you could learn for your business if you utilized AI's capabilities.
What I’ve shared here today is just the tip of the iceberg!
